Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
